Judicial Review

In considering judicial review applications before the High Court, we advise clients on the lawfulness of decision-making processes by administrative bodies, planning authorities and other state entities. Our team assesses and offers guidance on the potential remedies available from the High Court, whether an order of certiorari (to quash a decision), mandamus (to require a decision-maker to actually make the decision) or prohibition (an order prohibiting a decision-maker from making a particular decision). We also assist on associated injunction applications and actions for damages.
