Whitney Moore’s Emma Richmond Elected to Board of Directors of Meritas, the Global Network of Independent Law Firms

We are delighted to announce that Emma Richmond, joint managing partner, has been appointed to the board of directors of Meritas, the international network of independent law firms of which Whitney Moore is the sole Irish member. Meritas connects the legal needs of companies across every major jurisdiction and global market. Emma was chosen from over 8,400 attorneys in the Meritas member network and will serve a three-year term alongside six distinguished lawyers from around the world.

Emma has been actively involved with Meritas for several years, during which time she has served as a member of the European Leadership Group and more recently stepped onto the Board to fill a vacancy mid term. Emma is an active participant in the Meritas Labour and Employment Group and Sports Law Group. As a board member, she will participate in strategic planning, member recruitment and development, and upholding Meritas’ rigorous quality standards, which distinguish the network from other legal organisations.

Emma specialises in Employment law, advising clients on workplace compliance, employee relations, and dispute resolution. She qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin. She is a member of the Law Society of Ireland. She trained with Whitney Moore and became a partner in 2017.
