Experience

Roisin has extensive experience in a wide range of matters such as raising finance, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, franchises, joint ventures, restructures and corporate governance. She has experience acting for both vendors and purchasers when selling and buying businesses by way of asset and share sales and purchases.

She  also advises extensively on contractual matters  in particular  on technology contracts for the IT sector such as SAAS agreements, software licences and development agreements as well as service level agreements and other commercial agreements.

Róisín also advises on competition matters and in assisting clients seeking merger clearance from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) in relation to notifiable transactions and engaging with the CCPC during the merger notification process.

 Sector Experience

Roisin has experience in acting for a range of clients from start – ups to well – established domestic and international companies in many sectors, including technology, manufacturing, biosciences and pharmaceutical.

Qualifications

Róisín holds a degree in business and legal studies from UCD, and qualified as a solicitor in 2002. She completed the Certificate in Technology Law with the Law Society of Ireland in 2020.
