Mark advises on a broad range of commercial and corporate finance-related transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, management buy-out and buy-ins, joint ventures and venture capital investment.
Mark also advises on competition law matters. He has represented clients across a variety of sectors and has considerable experience of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. His practice also extends to advising companies and their directors on all aspects of company law, including corporate governance.
Mark is a former director of the Takeover Panel, the statutory body with responsibility for supervising takeovers of public companies in Ireland.
He is also a member, and former Chairman, of the Business Law Committee of the Law Society of Ireland and represents the Irish Law Society on the Company Law Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE).
Mark qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin. He joined Whitney Moore in 1982 and has been a partner since 1989. He speaks Italian and French.
