Whitney Moore Wins Ireland Patent Firm of the Year

Whitney Moore has been awarded Ireland Patent Firm of the Year at the Global IP Awards 2020, in London at a gala dinner hosted by Law Business Research, which publishes IAM and World Trademark Review (WTR), two of the world’s leading intellectual property publications globally. The awards recognise outstanding achievement in Patent and Trademark work during 2019.

Whitney Moore is renowned as a leader in the Irish IP litigation market and ascended to gold tier status ranking in 2020, following its involvement in significant intellectual property related Supreme Court and Commercial Court cases. Recognised for its “deep bench of court room talent”, partners Aoife Murphy and Robin Hayes both rank as outstanding professionals in intellectual property litigation and advice.

“This award reflects the great work that we do for our clients and mirrors the corresponding Managing IP Award that we currently hold.” said John Lynch, Managing Partner. “It is fantastic to see that Whitney Moore’s impactful work and advice has been recognised globally and rewarded once again.”

Having been closely involved in the whole process, I can say with complete confidence that every single winner has come out on top against very tough competition – and thoroughly deserves the recognition they have received,” says Joff Wild, the editor-in-chief of LBR’s IP and Data Division. “Congratulations to all of them!”
