Emma is joint Managing Partner and Partner in the Employment & Immigration team advising employers and employees on all aspects of the employment relationship from appointment through to termination.
Emma works closely with HR professionals and management teams advising on day-to-day issues such as disciplinary and grievances, as well as more complex terminations, restructuring and redundancies. She is an experienced public speaker and delivers seminars to clients and provides tailored training to in-house management teams.
With the growth in foreign direct investment in recent years, and with a large number of international clients, Emma complements her employment practice by assisting these companies not only with contracts of employment and policies but also providing immigration advice and assistance in relation to work permit applications.
Whitney Moore has a strong international focus and is the sole Irish member of the Meritas global network. Emma is a member of the European Leadership Group of Meritas and was appointed to the Board in 2023. Meritas is the premier global alliance of independent law firms.
Emma qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Employment Law from University College Dublin. She trained with Whitney Moore and became a partner in 2017.
